Mr Babiera believes in the tourism potentials of Guimaras, his home province. But he knows he can’t do much for the island’s tourism industry if he will just stay there. So he first made inroads in Manila and after a series of successful ventures which includes his establishment of the Prime Asia Trade Planners and Convention Organizer (Patepco), Henry thought it was time to look back to Guimaras and invest in what he believes in.

Henry began his contribution to Guimaras tourism with the opening of the Lombija Wildlife Center in Nueva Valencia, which features a wildlife research and breeding center, a botanical garden, a zoological park, a heritage plaza and a mountain resort. He also believes that the island’s beauty can’t just be found on land but also underwater, so commissioned a team of divers to document its diving spots, revealing vital information about Guimaras’ vital marine resources.

Using his experience as an event organizer, he made himself available as a consultant whenever Guimaras participates in travel fairs. His goal is to always put Guimaras’ best foot forward, firmly believing that the island-province fits everyone’s taste.
